Public Policy

CCAB seeks to support and initiate legislative matters critical to successfully implementing CCAB's mission of lowering Brookline's carbon footprint.  Working at both the Town and State policy levels, CCAB researches relevant subject matter; investigates legislative process and opportunities; and coordinates with state-wide policy groups.

CCAB has worked with State Representative Frank Smizik and the Green Communities State House staff.  For information on the Green Communities Act, see www.mass.gov/energy/greencommunities or www.masstech.org/dg/gca.htm
